COMMITTEE MEETINGS
The Harare Chapter meets monthly on the first Monday of each month to plan their events and monitor how various functions,
special projects and other activities are progressing.
Members who have an interest in getting involved are asked to contact any of the committee members concerned.
CHAPTER FUNCTIONS
These are held on a monthly basis at the Alexandra Sports Club. They are generally held on the second Tuesday of the month at 5.30pm.
The event is usually a 45 minute talk followed by approximately 15 minutes of question time.
A wide variety of topics are covered and the format also varies from month to month, including debates, videos and slide show presentations.
A certain amount of time, however, is always reserved for questions or comments from the members and the presenters and speakers are always
approachable in a casual manner after a function. The topic is advertised on the CSZ website CALENDAR
NATIONAL FUNCTION/SEMINARS
Harare Chapter organise and run the annual Summer School at Nyanga during late October.
There is also a Winter Business School Workshop targeted at new IP Managers which is run in Kariba, or other centres, in late June or July.
EDUCATION
Harare Chapter concentrates on education of its members and the general public, via organisation of seminars and monthly functions.
Attempts at promoting computers in schools will be considered in future.
